I just got this game off of Steam for 5 bucks last night, I've always wanted to try it out so when I saw it on sale I just figured I'd buy it instead of rent it.
I haven't gotten to play it yet, but I hope it runs well on my computer..

I can run everything on the very high settings, DX 11 and everything, but it's a little laggy. I really wish I could find that cord that plugs into the wired xbox controller so I could play with that  |

Not really a fail if you don't like keyboard/mouse controls, I don't see playing on a PC for the sake of better graphics (or whatever Gumby's reasoning is) as a fail. I'd do the exact same thing if I could afford it lol.

Sacrificing one of the best reasons to play a game on a computer, lol you must really hate PC controls.

Yeah, I dislike Mouse+Keyboard controls. Not so much the mouse, but the fact that you are basically controlling your character with what's equivalent to a d-pad and having to stretch your fingers and memorize button locations to do things that would be otherwise simple on an xbox controller.

lol I personally find it really annoying that I tend to start every sentance with lol.
jk, lol.
I personally like keyboard+mouse. If you know how to type, you will have no trouble with game controls. And about stretching your fingers, the only time I can say I've needed to do that is for hotkeying items in oblivion and f3.

I liked metro, it was a different experience than most. and I stealthed the hell out of those tunnel goons. That was satisfying
