I could have sworn I already made this thread.....but I need some recommendations. I plan to get an iTunes gift card soon but some free apps/games to kill the time would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well, if you mean games, then I can totally recommend you a bunch, being a huge mobile gamer. These are all my favorite games and all worth buying (though I get 99% of my apps when they're on sale)

N.O.V.A. 1 & 2
Battlefield: Bad Company 2
Modern Combat 2: Black Pegasus (The first one was meh, just get the second one)
CoD: W@W Zombies
Jelly Car 1,2 & 3
Asphalt 5
Gun Bros. (This is free)
Street Fighter IV
Infinity Blade
Devil May Cry 4
Blades of Fury
Guitar Hero
Rock Band 2
Star Battalion

I didn't really separate my list by genre, but I figured that it's a slightly long list and you'll only check out the games that sound interesting. This list is about 1/4 the total games I own, but out of all those these are my favorites, so i'd recommend any of these (even all of them if you can afford it, but it would be kinda expensive all at  once).

I hear Game Dev Story is good, although i've never played it. There is a review for Dead Space on iPhone at leakybattery.wordpress.com!

Not that these games are bad but those hardware intensive games are killer on the battery, no? Or are you supposed to play them while charging? or does that f*** up the battery lol

Well, Elite, I got Infinity Blade and I'm a bit underwhelmed. I got it during a sale($3) and I was pretty excited. But I don't know...

Well, to each his own. I'm completely addicted and the new content they released today pretty much equalled the total content in the game. If you don't like it then it's a good thing you got on on sale for $3 as opposed to $6.

Perhaps I was a bit too hasty and rush to judge it so quickly. It looks AMAZING and I'm liking it more and more as I go along. Hope to get Dead Space and NOVA 2 soon Cheesy

Dead Space and N.O.V.A. 2 are awesome, definitely get them. NOVA's campaign shouldn't take you long, and the online is pretty good, but ets old kinda quickly. Dead Space has the best iOD graphics next to IB and actually manages to be scary. I have jumped a few times while playing.

Also, if you're not aware, IB will be updated with Multiplayer features in the near future.
