Was feeling nostalgic and wanted to post on here again  Grin

Anyone played Overwatch yet?
I'm personally a big fan. It reminds me of like everything I wanted from Doom 95 as a kid when I used to play multiplayer on my family's Dial-Up internet.

It looks awesome, but I honestly haven't had time to dedicate to gaming for almost a year now Sad I think the last new game I bought was the Borderland's Pre-Sequel...

Haven't played it myself, but my friends play it religiously. Never really been interested in the general "style" of the game. And the aesthetic doesn't appeal to me at all.

Basically I'm a giant stick in the mud.

I think the last online multiplayer game I played was CSGO back when the revolver first launched and caused a mess. Good times. Might go back to it, might not. Sold/gave away all my cool stuff though.

Yeah, I've been pretty busy myself. Last 3 "new" games I've bought were Undertale, GTA V and Hotline Miami 2.

Actually, I just remembered that I bought Star Wars Battlefront. I played it religiously for about a month while I was between jobs, haven't played it at all since then. I really want to get all the DLC for it and get back into it, but I feel like i'd drop the money, play it once or twice and never play it again. I hate having to work and do school nearly full time :/ If i'm ever at a point in life that I can actually put some time aside for gaming again, i'm going to put together a kick ass rig to make up for it.

Simple, just win the lottery :^)

But really tho, the nice thing about PC gaming is that depending on the resolution/framerate you want to play at, a kickass rig doesn't have to be all that expensive. Of course, if you don't have the time to enjoy it, there isn't much point.

For example, my computer would probably only cost $600 or so at the absolute most to make today, and I can run most games I play at a nice comfy 1440p 30fps at max settings. Of course, 60fps would be nicer but I'm waiting until after uni to make those updates since I plan on doing a full rig update (I'm tired of moving a 30+ pound computer every time I move every few months).

lol I found my PC in the junk pile at my father's work. They were ditching a bunch of random electronics (they're a company that installs fiber optics) and I found it.
It's not the best, but like it can generally run things fine. I would love to upgrade to a gaming computer. I work in a student residence so console gaming is super inconvenient.

Gotta love Franken-machines! It's amazing what people just throw away (especially in the case of computers/electronics -- lots and lots of personal data on them).

Curious though, specs?

again, nothing really exciting. But, it has a core i5 4590 @ 3.30 GHz, with 4 gb of ram. and runs the majority of games on medium. I'm using the stock Intel 4600 card right now, but I might upgrade that part first.

Pretty good lil processor, I have a 4670k @ 3.4GHz and I don't plan on upgrading it anytime soon.

4 gb of ram
Probably one of the cheaper things you could upgrade, 8gb is a good sweet spot these days.

I have an old HD6770 laying around somewhere at home if you want it, not sure if it's better than onboard graphics at all. I also have like a million freakin fans if you ever need any lol.

Here are its stats if ya interested: http://www.powercolor.com/us/products_features.asp?id=343
