In the event that anyone still comes here, it seems Prem has re-opened his old Webs site for The Grinder. Not sure why, I just got an email that it was back up. I logged in a few days ago and it wasn't super active, but I saw some old members resurface over there. If you happened to be a member on his site i'd go check it out.

The name Prem sounds familiar- was this before or after my time?

Probably before unless you were part of TCIC's early days. I don't remember exactly how it went down so i'll probably get this story totally wrong, but if i'm not mistaken shortly after I discovered and joined TCIC, where Prem was a pretty active member, there was this big arguement, about what I don't remember, between him and some other guys that caused him and everyone that sided with him to leave and start their own Conduit fan site. That's kind of what started the wave of sites that all spawned off of TCIC, Prem shut down his first site and opened another, started other fan sites for other High Voltage games, a few other memebers of TCIC started their own, less successful sites and I believe Battery Acid was the last site created by former TCIC members when TCIC officially closed. I was part of a small group of members that didn't really side with anyone, so I was on pretty much all the sites at one time or another.

Dang, so much history and drama behind all of this. I forgot all about it! Pretty neat! I think Battery Acid lasted the longest and was most successful!

Oh, TCIC... good times, good times..

Oh, TCIC... good times, good times..

I can honestly say part of me really misses it, I had some good times chatting with everyone and getting online matches set up was always a blast. Definitely the best gaming community I was ever a part of.

Oh gosh, Prem. I'm pretty sure I joined shortly after/during the drama but holy hell this feels like ancient history lol.

TCIC was a blast.

TCIC was a blast.

You can still re-live the glory days: https://web.archive.org/web/*/the-conduit.webs.com

Prepare for a rush of nostalgia.
