Basically, it's a kick ass game that's kinda rpg, but on rails sorta (it's way better than I make it sound) and it has freakin' console quality graphics, no joke. It's worth way more than the $6 price tag, and the fact that there is going to be free content updates makes it better. It's made by Epic (Gears of War series) using a mobile version of the Unreal Engine.

You know how cutscenes in a game always look better than the actually gameplay graphics? In this game, it all looks the same. You can't even tell when it is transitioning from a cutscene to gameplay because it looks exactly the same and there are no load times. Period. Plus they got the controls perfectly. No cramming of buttons all over the screen. There is only 3 buttons, one for blocking and two for dodging. Everything else is controlled by swiping your finger.

It's so hard how to put the awesomeness of this game into words.

It doesn't look very fun when you look at the videos, but the graphics are nice.

It's not for everyone, i'll admit that, but i'm completely addicted. And the graphics in the vids? That's what the game looks like on an iTouch 3rd gen (what I have). I can only imagine what it looks like with retina display.

Hopefully more games start using this engine. This is basically starting a whole new era of mobile gaming.

may i ask what the model number of your ipod touch is? i bought infinity blade, got the software update 4.2 for my itouch and i still cant download the game to my ipod, i am pretty sure i have a 3rd generation.

the model number? where would the location of such a number be found?

nevermind, i found out the itouch 3rd generation has to be a 16-32gb version in order to play it. luckily we own an ipad i can play it on! truly a fun game!

I am on bloodline 2, almost level 5.

I was on bloodline 9, level 22, but I got a game-breaking glitch that forced me to restart the game from bloodline one.... I had the best ring, shield, helmet and armor, and had beaten the God King once. Now it's all gone
At least I keep my achievements.

I just restarted my game back to bloodline one ...... But I got to keep all my inventory and character stats!!! I'll get to bloodline 9 again in no time!

Well, i've finally hit the level cap, 40 and mastered all the items in the game! I'm on the level 200 God King right now, but i'm giving the game a rest until the next update (Next week lol). I actually know someone over on the official Infinity Blade forums that is on the level 1000 God King, which is absolutely crazy. I can't get past the level 200, yet a majority of the members are at least on the level 400.

Anyways, the next update isn't adding much (the one in January adds the cool stuff like multiplayer), but this next one will add a few more items (raising the level cap to 45) and a new enemy type, the Marrow Fiend.
