Whoever watched that Nintendo Direct thing today... wow. Nintendo is going to be the king of online gameplay. It's so unique and amazing. Seriously!

Darn, you beat me to it. But, seeing as you failed to provide links/information, I shall take over your thread as it's new ruler.

Ok, first off, if you want to watch the Nintendo Direct presentation, here it is: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/03/e3-2012-watch-the-pre-e3-nintendo-direct-presentation It's about 30 minutes.

Now, IGN has a bunch of articles on all the different things revealed, so if you want to only hear about something specific, then here is everything mentioned in the above video.

WiiU name remains the same: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/03/wii-u-remains-the-name
Official reveal of the WiiU Game Pad: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/03/wii-us-gamepad-revealed
Official reveal of the WiiU Pro controller: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/03/e3-2012-nintendo-shows-off-wii-u-pro-controller
Official reveal of the "Miiverse": http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/03/e3-2012-nintendo-introduces-the-miiverse
WiiU has on demand video chat: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/03/e3-2012-wii-u-includes-built-in-video-chat
WiiU also available in black: http://www.ign.com/articles/2012/06/03/e3-2012-wii-u-includes-built-in-video-chat

I'm just getting more and more excited about the WiiU and Nintendo's E3 presentation. I think the Miiverse sounds sick, and the fact that it will also be on the 3DS is awesome. Oh yea, and dat Pro controller. Seriously, the people slamming on the WiiU for the new game pad and Wii remote support have absolutely nothing to complain about now in regards to controls. The classic controller is like Nintendo's dualshock of sorts and the Pro controller is now their version of the 360 control (and it looks great imo). If I ever hear someone complain about Nintendo's controls again I will take each and every controller and shove them all up his/her ass.

Microsoft won this generation. They have the best online service. They have all of the 3rd party devs on there side.

I mean think about it, why wouldn't the nintendo online service be better than xbox live. Xbox live is old and that system isn't powerful enough to have a significant upgrade to xbox live. All Nintendo had to do was look at Xbox live, add those same features, and add a little bit more to make it better. That's what the Vita did, the Vita has all of the online features xbox live has. Plus with Nintendo releasing their system first they have to just sit and watch and see if Sony and Microsoft just annihilate them in power. That is why I am not excited about the Wii U.

I'll just wait and see just what happens. Until then, I reserve my judgement.

Other than saying WiiU is a terrible name.

Wow, someone is grumpy. This looks insane, and there is absolutely nothing to complain about, as Dan has said. Wii U is going to fantastic!! I cannot wait for Tuesday, it's going to be crazy!!

fix'd

Some people just can't be pleased. I'm excited for it, and until I personally play it and am disappointed (which I doubt will happen, it just looks way too cool), I will remain that way.
