Got anything cool happening in 2017?
Nothing solid quite yet, but I got a lot of thinking/planning for the future to do so I guess that's something. Kinda considering taking some vacation time this summer, do a little traveling. How about you? Imagine if there was a new TC and we actually managed to get the old community (or at least part of it) back together?
That would be kinda cool, albeit extremely unlikely. It would be nice to revitalize Battery Acid/TCIC as a hub for game discussion/playmaking but again, unlikely. I'm not even sure if forums are still a thing like they were 10 years ago.

core i5 4590 @ 3.30 GHz
Pretty good lil processor, I have a 4670k @ 3.4GHz and I don't plan on upgrading it anytime soon. 4 gb of ram
Probably one of the cheaper things you could upgrade, 8gb is a good sweet spot these days. I'm using the stock Intel 4600 card right now, but I might upgrade that part first
I have an old HD6770 laying around somewhere at home if you want it, not sure if it's better than onboard graphics at all. I also have like a million freakin fans if you ever need any lol. Here are its stats if ya interested: http://www.powercolor.com/us/products_features.asp?id=343

Ye olden OG in-joke from like, 7 or 8 years ago between me and Chad. Not sure if it was ever posted here or not.
And yeah, I just finished season 5 after years of not seeing the appeal of the show.
God damn them characters are great!

I've never been part of a more fun gaming community and probably never will be
This. Every """community""" I've been in since the glory days of TCIC and BA have been absolutely trash. On the topic of getting a new game to complete the story, I wouldn't count on it. Sales aside (I don't think either game did amazingly but I have no clue) I'm not sure if there really is a Conduit fanbase still. Literally the only other place I've seen The Conduit crop up in the last few years is that silly /v/ copypasta.

Sounds kinda cool, but blegh Windows 10.
I have still (after probably 10 years of on and off searching) yet to find a legit Halo 2 download for the PC. Guess I'm just never gonna beat it lol.
It would be nice if they released the entire series for PC, I'd replay it just for the nostalgia but I doubt they'll do it anytime soon. Or maybe they already have and I just wasn't paying attention lol.

Gotta love Franken-machines! It's amazing what people just throw away (especially in the case of computers/electronics -- lots and lots of personal data on them).
Curious though, specs?

Simple, just win the lottery :^)
But really tho, the nice thing about PC gaming is that depending on the resolution/framerate you want to play at, a kickass rig doesn't have to be all that expensive. Of course, if you don't have the time to enjoy it, there isn't much point.
For example, my computer would probably only cost $600 or so at the absolute most to make today, and I can run most games I play at a nice comfy 1440p 30fps at max settings. Of course, 60fps would be nicer but I'm waiting until after uni to make those updates since I plan on doing a full rig update (I'm tired of moving a 30+ pound computer every time I move every few months).

Haven't played it myself, but my friends play it religiously. Never really been interested in the general "style" of the game. And the aesthetic doesn't appeal to me at all. Basically I'm a giant stick in the mud. I think the last online multiplayer game I played was CSGO back when the revolver first launched and caused a mess. Good times. Might go back to it, might not. Sold/gave away all my cool stuff though. It looks awesome, but I honestly haven't had time to dedicate to gaming for almost a year now I think the last new game I bought was the Borderland's Pre-Sequel... Yeah, I've been pretty busy myself. Last 3 "new" games I've bought were Undertale, GTA V and Hotline Miami 2.

The Conduit just turned 7 years old on June 23rd for us North Americans. (I actually meant to make this post on the 23rd but forgot like a dufus) TCIC was like, 8-10 years ago at this point. I'm not really sure when the site came about and information started flowing. The "great migration" to Battery Acid happened maybe 6 years ago. I'm too lazy to fact check that though. It's something close to that anyhow. My drivers license expires in less than a year How does time work. Video games.

How much is actually stored on the PS3? Does it work like the 360 where games are installed onto it and disks only serve to launch the game?
I'm not sure. Sorry Samus. I've waited 4 years for this answer. Thanks. No problem, glad I could help. The hero we deserve.
